The Air Director is a patent-pending airflow solution designed to dramatically improve how heat moves through your camper, topper, or truck bed. Engineered to increase overall airflow while intentionally redirecting a portion of warm air in the opposite direction, it creates more uniform, comfortable heat throughout your space—eliminating hot spots and cold corners.
This smarter airflow pattern allows your heater to work more efficiently, meaning it can heat the same space while working less hard. The result is improved performance, more consistent warmth, and reduced propane consumption—helping you stay out longer without carrying extra fuel.
Built for demanding overland environments, the Air Director is constructed from a high-heat-resistant plastic reinforced with carbon fiber. This advanced material is designed to withstand the extreme temperatures produced by most heaters while avoiding the release of dangerous VOCs commonly emitted by lesser plastics when heated.
Why you’ll want it:
- Patent-pending design that increases airflow and improves heat distribution
- Creates more uniform warmth by directing air in multiple directions
- Helps heaters run more efficiently, saving valuable propane
- Made from carbon-fiber-reinforced, high-heat-resistant plastic
- Designed to withstand extreme heat without emitting harmful VOCs
When every ounce of fuel matters and comfort is non-negotiable, the Air Director delivers smarter heat where it counts.
What comes in the kit?
- Air Director body and cap
- Set screws (2)
- Allen wrench
Fitment:
- Designed to fit heater ports with a 3.5" (90mm) tubular outlet.
- Can handle the high heat output of diesel, propane, and gas fueled heaters
Shipping:
- Orders could take 7-10 days to ship
- We are not shipping internationally at this time
Install:
- Slide the Air Director body over the heater’s outlet port.
- Orient the Air Director so the solid body section without Venturi holes faces and shields the heater’s air intake tube. This prevents air from flowing back into the intake.
- Once properly aligned, tighten the set screws evenly until the Air Director fits snugly on the heater port.
- Do not overtighten the set screws—tighten only until secure.
Your Air Director is now installed and ready to improve airflow and heat distribution.
